Alongside this sharp increase on Conestoga’s campuses, CSI is a proud partner of the Canadian Association of Student Alliances (CASA), where similar themes of food insecurity, increased access to campus food banks, and emergency funds have been discussed by student associations across the nation.

CSI’s Board of Directors tasked the Advocacy Team with conducting further research on the prevalence of food insecurity on Conestoga’s campuses to develop a deeper understanding of what food insecurity looks like at Conestoga. Ultimately, this report aims to provide general and demographic information about who is affected by food insecurity and to provide a better understanding of how food insecurity affects Conestoga communities
